Application methods:
1. Because of the poor water absorption of polyester fiber, alkali reduction treatment should be used before flame retardant finishing to remove impurities, oil stains and other additives on the fabric surface and improve the flame retardant effect.
Recommended formula:
Caustic soda: 20-30 g/L; Accelerator: 1 g/L;
Temperature: at 95-100℃; Time:for 30-60 min.
2. Flame retardant treatment:
The amount of flame retardant is adjusted according to the gram weight and liquid carrying rate of the fabric to be treated.
2.1 Recommended formula:
polyester durable flame retardant JYK TEXFR-300: 120-180 g/L;
Anti-migration agent JYK NEW-330: 1 g/L;
Trisodium phosphate: Adjust pH to 6.5.
2.2 Preparation of working solution: firstly add part of water, then add flame retardant, fully stir and dissolve, drop trisodium phosphate solution, check pH value at any time, stop dropping when pH value reaches 6.5, then add anti-migration agent, etc., and then adjust it to the specified weight or volume with water. The prepared working fluid should be used as soon as possible, otherwise, the pH should be readjusted to 6.5 before use.
2.3 Suggested process flow: two dipping and two rolling (padding liquid ratio 60-70%) → drying ( at 110-120℃)
→Setting (at 195-205℃ for 40-60 seconds) → Washing ( at 45℃)
→ Drying (at 110℃).
Precautions:
1. The above formula and process can be appropriately changed according to the fabric and site conditions;
2. Pre-test should be carried out before mass production to confirm the compatibility between various additives;
3. Setting temperature and time play a key role in the fixation rate of flame retardant. If the temperature is too low, it will affect the washing resistance and flame retardant effect.

Storage:
Store in a place away from light, dry and well ventilated;
It is forbidden to store in high temperature, open air or places with fire sources.
