Co-sponsored by the "2024 Functional New materials in the application of personal clothing" seminar at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Center It was held at the same time as the 18th Shanghai International Hosiery Purchasing Fair, the 5th Shanghai Lifestyle Fashion Underwear Exhibition, the 6th Shanghai International Hat, Scarf and Gloves Exhibition, and the 6th Shanghai International Fashion Accessories Exhibition.

The meeting is devoted to discussing the development of new healthy textile materials such as antibacterial, deodorant, anti-viral, anti-allergic, skin care and moisturizing, and their applications in underwear, socks, clothing, apparel, hats, scarves and other industries, and discussing how to enhance the added value of products, improve people's quality of life and effectively deal with the industry's internal problems under the background of the post-epidemic era of health in these industries. And how to provide special functional materials that meet the needs of the market ahead, providing good communication opportunities. This meeting invited about 60 experts and scholars from influential universities, scientific research institutions and related enterprises in the field of functional new materials to attend this meeting, chaired by professor grade senior engineer Chen Bangwei.

 In his welcome speech, Secretary-General He Koubao expressed his sincere thanks to all the leaders and guests for taking the time to come to this seminar. He pointed out that this seminar aims to understand the latest trends in the research of new materials and the application of the latest technologies through exchange and interaction, and form a consensus on development through in-depth discussion and exchange of views, so as to further accelerate the industrialization of scientific research and technology. Jointly promote industrial progress and seek business opportunities for cooperation and development.

 Professor Zhang Yumei, School of Materials, Donghua University, made a report on the theme of "Hot Discussions on functional fibers/yarns in the post-epidemic era".      

 Zhang Huanzhi, director of Hebei Ecorui Fiber Co., Ltd. shared the theme report of "Development and application of Functional acrylic fiber and bamboo pulp fiber".

Professor Li Jingye, School of Chemistry and Materials Science, Shanghai Normal University, shared the theme report "Application of electron beam grafting technology in antibacterial and antiviral fabrics". 

 Xiao Huisheng from the Special Committee of Antimicrobial and Epidemic Prevention New Materials of Shanghai New Materials Association brought to you the interpretation of the "2023 Antibacterial textile Industry Development Report".  

 Oriol Rodriguez, Technical Director of Shanghai Zoltec New Material Technology Co., LTD., shared the theme report "The application of COPPTECH technology in the field of clothing and textiles, a leading international antibacterial brand".

 Mr. Chen Jian, senior researcher and senior engineer of Tongbiao Standard Technical Service (Shanghai) Co., LTD., brought a report on the theme of "Photocatalytic antibacterial/anti-allergy detection and standardized interpretation of close-fitting clothing". 

Ma Zhengsheng, senior engineer, general manager of Shanghai Guofan Chemical New Materials Co., LTD., shared the theme report of "Development and application of antibacterial, antiviral and anti-allergy multifunctional fibers/yarns such as CHF/healthy yarn/Aakulon".

 At the end of the meeting, a summit forum was held. The guests included Dr. Bao Ping of Tongbiao Standard Technical Service (Shanghai) Co., LTD., General Manager Gao Fengman of Shanghai Shenzhu Intelligent Technology Co., LTD., and General Manager Wang Yaohua of Shanghai Lishai Textile Co., LTD. The forum was chaired by Ma Zhengsheng, director of the Anti-microbial epidemic Prevention Committee, and the guests shared the highlights of technological innovation of various units. Also exposed their own confusion in the current environment, hoping to learn new scientific and technological knowledge from this seminar.  

 During the meeting, leaders and experts shared important research topics with participants, shared relevant technical knowledge, promoted the application of functional new materials in personal clothing, provided technical guidance to enhance the added value of products, and also provided technical paths and choices based on consumer and market demand for the transformation and upgrading of personal clothing industry. It has great practical significance for the application and development of functional new material technology in close-fitting clothing.
